We were married on a Florida beach in 2021 in the presence of God and multiple witnesses on a very hot summer day with beautiful ocean waves and sunshine as our splendid décor. Having both been married previously, we are no strangers to the heartache, pain, and disappointment of a broken marriage and divorce. We have earnestly sought to do things differently this time by tuning in to each other’s needs, practicing patience, and providing lots of space for individuality within the union of our marriage. Our passion for helping other couples has been born out of our personal journeys of healing.
We have a deep desire to provide education, resources, and encouragement for relational health.
We are a work in progress, avid learners of all matters relating to marriage and long term committed relationships. We enjoy spending time together working out, playing with our puppy, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and traveling! (Especially traveling…) We also enjoy quiet evenings together at home with a home-cooked meal and streaming TV to enjoy a captivating series. Our Christian faith is central to our marriage and home. We abide by the Midwestern values of hard work, family, and faith. Ours is a multi-racial, blended family with Bryon’s 3 biological children, Cheryl’s 4 biological children, their spouses and significant others, a bonus daughter from Cheryl’s previous marriage, and 5 grandchildren! We enjoy visiting with our grown kiddos and their families whenever possible. We also enjoy supporting our youngest daughter’s high school events.
